At Honeysuckle House, dementia care is centred on the person. We take time to understand each resident’s life, routines, and what matters most to them. Care is calm, consistent, and shaped around what helps each person feel safe, settled, and respected. Our team supports daily life, from personal care and meals to activities and meaningful moments. Families remain closely involved, and care plans are regularly reviewed to reflect changing needs. We provide dementia care in a warm, homely setting, where good care is part of everyday life.

Respite Care

Honeysuckle House offers a safe, welcoming place to stay for respite care. Support includes personal care, meals, enrichment activities, medication support if required and help with daily life. It can be a suitable option for individuals seeking support following post-operative or hospital care, or whilst their regular caregiver takes a break. With stays from two weeks onwards, our respite care services are flexible and can be tailored to your needs. Many of our short-term residents return to us on a recurring basis, offering regular respite for caregivers.

About Life at Honeysuckle House

Honeysuckle House itself has 72 en-suite bedrooms, each with its own private balcony or patio. Individuals also have access to rooftop terraces, courtyard gardens, multiple lounges, quiet rooms, activity spaces and a guest suite for when family comes to stay. Our Enrichment Team works with each resident to understand what matters to them and builds from there: activities, outings, social events, intergenerational visits from local schools, and the quieter moments that are just as important. Red Kite Meadows was designed to draw the community in. Alongside Honeysuckle House, the development includes 88 independent living apartments, a community café open to everyone, an independent hair and beauty salon, community rooms for hire and a woodland walk open to all.
