Quince Court

Quince Court is an independent living scheme in the market town of Sandy, owned and managed by Amplius in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council. It offers 55 individual apartments, 51 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom, built for the over 55s who want to live independently without the worry of home maintenance, alongside the reassurance of care support whenever it is needed. Care is Central provides the on-site care team at Quince Court. Our in-house team of 10 carers is on site 24 hours a day, ready to help with everything from a quick check-in to a more involved visit, built around an agreed plan for daily life. Visits can range from a 15-minute check-up to longer support, as many times a day as needed. Our care support workers help with getting up and going to bed, personal care, preparing meals, medication, household tasks, getting out and about, and simple companionship. Residents at Quince Court live in their own apartment, but are never far from support. The scheme has a large communal lounge, kitchen and laundry room, an assisted bathroom and a guest room for visiting family, as well as a scooter store. The sun lounge is a bright, comfortable space to relax in, and the large garden with its pond is a genuine favourite among residents who enjoy spending time outside.
