Independent Living, sometimes known as extra care housing, provides safety, security and reassurance whilst living in your own home with dedicated staff on site 24-hours a day. Built as apartment complexes to create a sense of community, people have their own flat, their own front door and the freedom to live independently. Individuals can be reassured that help is close by if they need it. Support is tailored to individual needs and can include planned care, help in an emergency, or wellbeing checks. There are a variety of communal rooms, a café, a spa room, a hair and beauty salon, a library with computer access, a fish and chip restaurant, hobby rooms, landscaped gardens and guest suites for visiting family. Greenfields is a modern, inclusive, and welcoming community offering a wide range of activities and social groups for residents to enjoy. Additional facilities include , games room, cinema room, comfortable communal lounges, an accessible bathroom and treatment rooms. Working in partnership with Peabody Housing Association, who manage the accommodation, Care is Central provides on-site care and support 24 hours a day.
