St George's Court

Independent Living, sometimes known as extra care housing, provides safety, security and reassurance whilst living in your own home with dedicated staff on site 24-hours a day. Built as apartment complexes to create a sense of community, people have their own flat, their own front door and the freedom to live independently. Individuals can be reassured that help is close by if they need it. Support is tailored to individual needs and can include planned care, help in an emergency, or wellbeing checks. St George's Court is located in central Leighton Buzzard, offering 28 one and two-bedroom apartments for the over 55’s. Working in partnership with Anchor Housing Association, who manage the accommodation, Care is Central provides on-site care and support 24 hours a day. St George’s Court is a well established, inclusive, and welcoming community offering a wide range of activities and social groups for residents to enjoy. Tenants can choose to dine together in the communal dining room, where a freshly prepared three-course meal is served daily. Additional facilities include a library, comfortable communal lounges, an accessible bathroom, and attractive garden spaces, providing plenty of opportunities for relaxation, socialising, and wellbeing.
