Lavender Court

Lavender Court sits in a peaceful residential part of Ampthill, one of Bedfordshire's most well-regarded small towns. It is the kind of setting where people feel settled quickly: unhurried, well-connected to the town and with a community that has grown over time. The scheme offers 27 one and two-bedroom retirement apartments, each self-contained with its own front door, kitchen and bathroom. Residents bring their own things, arrange their space as they like, and carry on the routines that matter to them. Care is Central manages the care services at Lavender Court, working in partnership with Anchor who look after the accommodation. Our team is on-site 24 hours a day and can support residents with anything from a friendly drop-in once a week through to more regular daily help, shaped by what each person needs and reviewed as those needs change. Life at Lavender Court has a comfortable rhythm to it. There are regular activities, craft groups, discussion groups and afternoon teas. People look out for each other here, and that kind of community does not happen by accident.
