Dementia care is specialist support for people living with memory loss, confusion, anxiety or changes in communication. Our teams use familiar routines, calm spaces, meaningful activities and a clear understanding of each person’s history and preferences, so support feels safe and personal.

Dementia care at Care is Central is for people who are finding it harder to manage safely at home, whose family is no longer able to provide the level of support they need, or who have reached a point where specialist knowledge, consistent care and a safe environment are more important than staying put.
It is also for families who are exhausted. Who have been doing everything they can for months or years, and who need to know that someone else has it, fully, day and night.
We will be honest with you about whether your loved one's needs are a good match for what we offer. If they are, we will take the time to get to know them properly before they arrive. If they are not, we will help you find the right next step.
Our team is trained in dementia care approaches that focus on the whole person. They understand that behaviour is often communication, that repetition is not a problem to be solved, and that the way someone is spoken to in a difficult moment matters enormously. Just as importantly, we focus on continuity of care, so people are supported by trained staff who get to know their routines, preferences, and what helps them feel safe.
