Care is Central is a local authority trading company (LATCo), established by Central Bedfordshire Council. We are not a commercial care group chasing margins. We exist to deliver outstanding care in Bedfordshire and to reinvest any surplus back into the services and communities we serve.

That difference matters for the people who work here, not just the people who live here.

Because we are not driven by shareholder returns, we can pay our staff better, invest more in training and development, and make decisions about staffing levels based on what is right rather than what is cheapest. Our teams are local people, working in the communities they already belong to. Most of them have been here for a while. That is not an accident.

Care Assistants The heart of what we do. Providing hands-on support with daily life, building genuine relationships with the people who live with us and their families.

Senior Care Assistants Leading shifts, supporting the team, and taking on additional responsibility for the people in your care.

Home Managers Leading a home, managing a team, and ensuring the people who live with us receive the standard of care we are proud of.

Activity Coordinators Designing and delivering a programme of activities that reflects the genuine interests and histories of the people who live with us.
