Chamomile Gardens

Chamomile Gardens is a newer independent living scheme in Biggleswade, run in partnership between Amplius and Central Bedfordshire Council. It offers 93 one and two-bedroom apartments for the over 55s, each with its own private balcony or terrace, and has been designed to help people relax into retirement without giving up their independence. Care is Central provides the on-site care team at Chamomile Gardens. Our in-house team is on site 24 hours a day, ready to help with everything from a quick check-in to more involved support through a bespoke plan for daily life with an agreed number of visits. Our care support workers help with getting up and going to bed, personal care, preparing meals, medication, household tasks, getting out and about, companionship and health checks. The scheme itself has been built with real care for everyday life: beautifully landscaped gardens, a hairdresser, a restaurant and even a cinema room. It is independent living with genuine style, alongside the reassurance of support whenever it is needed.
